Q.

Hello I am 19 weeks pregnant and I take thyroid tablets i.e 25 MCG thyronorm. Recently I had tested my thyroid and I got T3 and T4 high and TSH is in normal range. My doc suggested to do test after 15 days and she was saying we need to reduce the dose.So, is it correct to reduce the dose ?

A. Yes of course if the levels are normal then the dosage of the medicine is meant to be reduced down so need not worry about the doctors are going to be the medicines on the next report that you get done and that’s a completely normal thing with which your Dr is mentioning

Q. #asktheexperts Hi sir/ madam I have thyroid during 1st trimester of my pregnancy. I was on thyronorm 25 mg tablets. After using that tablets my thyroid level is normal during all my pregnancy. Now after delivery I am continuing to take thyronorm 25mg tablets till date. And 1 week back i did thyroid test which gives normal report. Can i continue the tablets. Or can i stop it now. And when i will do my thyroid test again. I am attaching my 1 week back thyroid test report. Thank you sir/ madam.
