hello expert.. my daughter has been suffering from cold for 8 to 10 days.i'm also suffered. I give her Nam cold z . but there is no improvement. what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetahmol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dosef can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
