hello doctor, my baby is 2 year 5 month old. from last 2 weeks, she has a cold (runny nose), and little cough. I daily I've her maxra and put nasal spray but no solution. what to do tell me . she has a little congestion on her throat due to cold.

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decvdongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. just steam fk rthe. colc. cough is common in this changing seasin. steam as a home remedy is a good that can be given to babies in a day at home only . For severe cough ascoril LS and montair like medication can be given .
