HomeQuestions & Answersgood morning Doctor
my baby is 1 month and 5 days old now and was premature by 24 days at delivery. edd was 29th April
my child breast feeds almost every time and I give him similac advanced stage 1 approx 60 ml 3 - 4 times a day.
actually what worries me is that even after breastfeeding on both breast for 10 mins each he seems to be unsatisfied and hungry and keeps on crying. then the moment we give him 60 ml of similac advanced stage 1 he feels full and feels drowsy. but again if we keep him on the bed he understands and cribs. I am not sure if how many times can I give him similac and if he is full by breastfeeding. I'm very worried also that he sleeps very less around 8 to 10 hrs a day only and whole night he keeps awake. plz advise

It’s Find the sleep pattern will change over the period some kids are awake mostly during the initial days of birth and then they sleep mostly into the later stage maybe after one month or 1 1/2 month so as of now need not worry about it and if your breast feed is not sufficient then you can completely switch to formula feeding as well because if that is satisfying your child that’s completely fine so just continue with that only
