Do babies have taste buds and can they identify bland, sweet, salty foods at 9 months of age?

A. hello . . .Taste buds in newborns can be found on the tonsils and the back of the throat, as well as on the tongue. During her first three months, your baby can distinguish between sweet and bitter tastes. try giving mild food for baby at this age
