Can I give taad mishri to nine months old baby? My mother in law says me that you can give little amount of salt and sugar to nine months old baby? Should I give? Please suggest me.

A. dear mum , no it has no benefits but harmful baby has no taste for salt or sugar salt not to b given till 1 yr as baby kidney not mature to process sugar / jaggery/ mishri avoid till 2 yr so that baby does not develop sugar craving , to reduce risk of obesity dental caries
