can I apply baby powder and coconut oil on my c section stitches to heal

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. During summers avoid applying oil as it leads to sweating and just leave the area as such and if you feel itching then little coconut oil can be applied or a lotion

shilpi BhandariMom of 4 children4 years agoA. no dear after C section it always advisable to clean the stitches with the Betadine lotion at least two times in a day after that you can apply neosprin powder aur Betadine powder on it no baby powder will be as effective as this antiseptic powder
