#asktheexperts why does often cold occurs ..?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocxolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it may be due to weather change and also please maintain proper room temperature and also give baby tulsi drops on daily basis for better immune system.
