Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there canv be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

U Can give indirect steam in halation to the child which is what is going to be helpful apart from that if you need you can always consult your doctor they’ll advise you with the correct medicine that you should be giving to the child for this issue that would be the best thing that you can do as of now for your child
