Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 26 days old. Her birth weight was arround 3.3 kg. But now she is 2.8 kg. Is it concerning as i saw on growth chart that weight should be greater than birthweight.

A. Hey! A little plus or minus in the baby weight when compared to the birth weight is a normal finding in the first few weeks after birth. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration and weight gain. Consult your doctor for further guidance.
