This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes around the child.
For cold you can give syp maxtra /wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2 to 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly.
Indirect steam can also be given.
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per dasy.
Give warm water to drink. .
For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child

What kind of pain are you talking about you haven’t given any clarity on that situation which is my I would recommend you the chicken cross check with your doctor mostly any kind of pain does not happen apart from ear pain so if your are talking about that then it could be a possibility otherwise not
