Q.
#AskTheExperts my 4 month old baby is suffereing from cold. I am using nasal drops. But the cold is still there. Please help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As agu home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .b
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

use Nebulizer as suggested by your doctor for fast relief
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered
please keep her well hydrated by giving her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour when she's awake
use simply purified water having tds higher than the 350
