mam ,as far as your child pee count is good (around 7 or 8 times in a day) ,no need to worry about it much.
although to encourage your child for drinking enough water , try to give it at regular intervals of 2 or 3 hours.
you can buy special cup or glass for this.
like Babyhug glass with straw.
