#asktheexperts Hi My baby has caught cold since 10 days and is teething. I'm using sinarest and nasivison drops for my baby but didn't feel relieved cold is not severe mild but his nose is slightly blocked but he is not relived... Do I need to change medicine so he could feel free... but he is active as usual

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analahgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
