#asktheexperts hello mam , my baby girl is 3m 1 w old and she is sucking her fingers thumbs and even palm of both hands how to make her stop this, what are the reason for it and what are its side effects.

A. babies develop the habit of keeping hands in mouth, and during the teething phase as there will itching gums, it increase.. try to restrict, divert and distract as baby will develop the habit then.. you can use Babyhug mittens.
