#asktheexperts He is 16 months old but still can't able to say single word . What should we do. Is it normal or we should consult doctor for it.

A. normal try to communicate more and more show them lips moving

A. If a child generally doesn’t pick up by the age of 2 1/2 years then it is a delay in the growth in terms of speech so right now you should try and communicate more and more with your child you should give zero screen time to the child get some books flashcards which you can teach different things to the child to pick up better on the speech over the period and even if you want to take an assessment with your doctor already it is absolutely fine
