#asktheexperts Having cold from last 10 days. Antibiotic and Ceteizine used . Any suggestion

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness therge could be associated sym trptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. hello dear along with the medication it is very important that you should take steam at least 3 times in a day this is the best home remedy which will make a huge difference and you can even have Besan ka Sheera also
