#asktheexperts Does high contrast pattern flash cards useful for newborn babies? when and how it should be used?

A. High contrast flash cards are absolutely safe and should be used from newborn upto 4-5 months as after that babies can focus well and are able to see colours. High contrast images are sensory enhancers and help in developing baby's visual focus and attention span. You place them in your baby's line of sight in the crib, on the bed during tummy time or during diaper change or wherever your baby spends some time. Show your baby a Complex Black & White Card a few times in a row. Wait until they look away before you put the card down; when they look back, hold it up again. Use flash cards with anti glare paper.

Flash card should be introduced after the age of 1 1/2 years at this age there is no point using anything they don’t even have a vision to see anything against the proper vision after completing the time of three months so give it a rest and your child is just newborn child you should know that your child have its time and you can introduce these things after the age of 1 1/2 years do not have to be in a hurry to teach anything to The ChaiWrite Your Answer Here
