#AskTheExpert The infant is of 7 days. For the past 2 days the baby has not pooped. Is it normal? For how many days a new born can go without pooping?

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. As the only food of the infants is either breastmilk or formula milk, it gets digested easily. Therefore, even if baby does not poop for 7-8 days at stretch, it is fine. As long as baby is urinating frequently and does not show any sign of discomfort, it is absolutely fine.
