#AskTheExpert my daughter is getting high fever every now and then due to cold. the fever goes upto 103°C. is there any immunity problem and what can I do to boost it. also is Cologne water useful for bringing down the fever

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants megxdicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Stream inhalation is repeated frequently .
