#AskTheExpert My daughter is 20 months old. Her chickenpox vaccination got missed. Can we get her vaccinned now? and is it a mandatory vaccine?

A. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely according to the latest recommendation which is approved now . minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . only pregnant women and children are not included in this list. mothers can feed their gchild as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child.
