#AskTheExpert My daughter caught cold in last week I am giving moxikind CV drops. Cold is gone but this week again catch cold. am giving moxikind cv again doctor?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per sthe symptoms .
Steam inhalatrion is repeated frequently .

please don't give any kind of Medicine by own.
instead of giving Medicine directly ,you can try homemade remedies first .
for example
you can apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child.
keep your child well hydrated
you can also give indirect steam to your child.
