#asktheexpert my babys weight is 8kg.. she is taking proper food.. morning ragi, nuts milk mix Morning snack small portions of cheela Afternoon snack chapati with daal Afternoon snack daal rice/ khicdi Evening some paratha or pancake Evening fruit Night soup & chapati with jaggery She is still breastfeeding 1-2 time during day & night How to increase weight

A. Namaste Mom, Toddlers almost by age of 1 they triple their birth weight and later it takes 5 years to double it up as well, you could probably give them now all family foods, you can include dry fruits , nuts and seeds, also give some seasonal fruits, eggs, if preffered, sago or sabudana, panner, tofu, add ghee to their meals as well, legumes such as chana,rajma lobia
