#AskTheExpert my baby is having fever of 98.3°f temperature taken from the armpit. she's sleepy, burping and throwing up milk more than usual.. is it fine or she's unwell. what should we do in case she's unwell? we would be very thankful of your answer.

Dr Javed HussainFather of 2 children5 years agoA. hello dear parent and the temperature mentioned is normal but it is difficult to comment without proper examination of the newborn babies and it is better that you take the baby to a pediatrician tomorrow for proper examination and further management

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy5 years agoA. Hi mom 98.3 in the armpit means 99.3 is the body temperature which is normal. No need to worry about this. Give medicine if the fever is above 100 F. Throwing up milk is normal in babies. This is acid reflux in babies which will go with time as baby grows up. So no need to worry.
