#AskTheExpert my baby is 3months old and he is suffering from cold and however his cold is fine now and the mucus from his throat cause snoring and he should get vaccinated in next 3days..last week they postponed his vaccination because of cold and now how can we get his mucus out from his throat. medicines used : brozeet Ls, solvincold

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illgyness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accohrdingly along with a proper hydration .
