A. If your baby has been dealing with a cold and sneezing for 10 days despite using prescribed medication, and you’re still seeing no improvement, consider the following steps:
### **1. **Reevaluate Medical Treatment**
- **Follow Up with Your Doctor**: Consult your pediatrician again to reassess the diagnosis. Persistent symptoms might indicate a need for a different approach or further investigation.
- **Review Medication**: Ensure the medication is being administered correctly and at the prescribed dosage. Check if any additional treatments or adjustments are needed.
### **2. **Home Comfort Measures**
- **Maintain Hydration**: Ensure your baby drinks plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
- **Use a Humidifier**: A cool-mist humidifier can help ease nasal congestion and dryness in the air.
- **Saline Nasal Drops**: Continue using saline drops to help clear nasal congestion. They are generally safe and can help with comfort.
- **Elevate the Head**: Slightly elevate your baby's head while sleeping to help reduce nasal congestion.
### **3. **Environmental and Hygiene Tips for Rainy Season**
- **Keep Dry**: Ensure your baby stays dry and warm. Wet clothes or exposure to damp environments can worsen cold symptoms.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Regularly clean and disinfect toys, surfaces, and hands to prevent the spread of germs.
- **Avoid Cold Drafts**: Protect your baby from cold drafts and sudden changes in temperature.
### **4. **Monitor for Complications**
- **Watch for Other Symptoms**: If your baby develops additional symptoms like a high fever, difficulty breathing, or persistent cough, seek medical attention immediately.
### **5. **Seek Specialist Advice if Needed**
- **Consider Seeing a Specialist**: If the cold persists or if your pediatrician suspects a more serious condition, they might refer you to a specialist for further evaluation.
Persistent colds in infants can sometimes be due to various factors, including allergies or other underlying conditions. A follow-up with your healthcare provider is crucial to ensure your baby receives appropriate care and relief.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times. You can also put saline drops in the nose of the baby.
Pleae give honey in lukewarm water to the baby. Also give Patanjali Shavasari syrup in lukewarm water to the baby. you can also give turmeric milk to the baby.
Thanks and take care
