#AskTheExpert my 3month old son is suffering from cold and cough. we have been giving medicine as prescribed by Our Dr. but no improvement is seen

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expvectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalatfion can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Cold and cough can take 3-9 days to get cured completely. So no need to worry. Continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold.
