#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko Gave my six month old baby apple Puree and he pooped apple Puree as is. He has not reacted this way when I gave this earlier ( no adverse reaction after the three day rule). He also poops light green color after giving rava porridge.

A. its ok.happens, If your breast feeding your baby then continue to breastfeed at regular intervals and there is no need to give anything else apart from mother milk or formula milk to baby till he complete 6months of age as it is complete food that takes care of hydration as well as nutrition. After 6 month you can gradually start weaning with homemade easy to digest food items like rice porridge ragi porridge mashed fruits apple Puree, mashed banana chiku etc. But whatever you are introducing should be introduced gradually with a small amount

A. I have been breast feeding on demand and giving one solid food meal in a day . is this green poop normal ? I added no sugar or salt in any of the solid food

A. hi dear Babies between the ages of 4 and 6 months can start to eat solid foods, although breast milk or formula should still the supply the majority of calories at this age. ... A 5-month-old can, in most cases, eat apple puree without added sugar.
