#AskTheExpert Kid is having Hand Foot Mouth disease wht I can give to kid fr eating coz he is having ulcers in mouth and how many days after we can send them back to school.Toyal how many days it take to recover. Thanks

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. 5 days hand and foot and mouth disease is a self limiting viral infection. commonly seen is viral red eruptions on the skin mainly on the joints of the body and on the bums and around the mouth and there are ulcers in the oral cavity. only symptoms treatment is given for fever as well as for pain and itching and oral ulcers and the disease usually resolves maxizmum by 1 to 1 and half weeks. meet your doctor for more information regarding this disease
