#AskTheExpert Is it fine to take up permanent laser hair removal whilst still breastfeeding? I had taken up trial n became pregnant thereafter hence was unable to go ahead with it.. now baby is 7 mnths so can it be done now?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Laser hair removal during breast feeding is fine as long as it is not done on the areola or breast tissue. As far as skin treatments are concerned the same is true during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Numbing agents are commonly used with laser skin treatments.
