#AskTheExpert I am 21 weeks of pregnant. I am having throat irritation and cold from 2 days back. I have taken Alerid-D tablet is it fine for me and what precautions should be taken at this stage?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children5 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evadltuation .

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 7 m old girl5 years agoA. need to be seen. This should be consulted by a Doctor near by for the proper examination as it is difficult to give treatment in this case with out examination physically . No any self medication should be done in any case .
