#AskTheExpert Hi.. experts am a mother of 2 months girl baby. my baby is passing motion 3 or 4 days once.. is that is fine for new born or any will problem it is.. I discussed with my pediatrics he is telling its quite common for newborn. but am but worried she is struggling to pass motion badly. because of covid am scared to take my baby outside..pls guide me..

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, babies under 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric.
To prevent this situation you should burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary,
