Q.
#asktheexpert hi doc, my is 2 months old and she’s not having motions for days.. what can i do for that besides massage? Kindly suggest?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of thec stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

It is normal as long as baby is healthy and active, accepting feeds then nothing to worry. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Consult your doctor for further assistance
