Q.

#asktheexpert hi, both my girls are short in height and less in weight and very less hair growth too. Though they are quite active. Should I be concerned about this or just go with their growing pace?

A. Just ensure the kids are getting good vitamins in their regular diet. Skinny look may be due to genetic reasons. If father or mother was skinny during their childhood then she could also be getting the same physique. So as long as the child is eating properly and is active and healthy you need not worry much about the weight. Height mainly depends on the genes. Apply pure cold pressed or virgin coconut oil daily. Once in a week use either coconut oil or castor oil and give a head massage. After few minutes wash the kids hair with a mild baby shampoo. Tonsuring or Mundan also helps to improve hair.
