#asktheexpert hello my child has continuous cold for more than 3 weeks.. it's very slight but he is getting thick cough. please suggest

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. it maye be any alergy. Any pediatric doctor should see the baby for the examination as further management is according to the finding only . May be it's ok otherwise some tests may be required for confirming the problem .

Hi mommy Use saline nasal drops Give indirect steam inhalation Wash hands often before touching your baby Maintain hygiene and maintain hydration Take a good care of your baby Burp well after every feeding Consult your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment
