Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .uy
Cough Syrup should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough self medication may not be so helpful so piilease consult your doctor once.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom. For cold u can give maxtra syrup to ur baby. For fever u can give paracetamol to ur baby if the fever is above 100.
Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
