#askthedoctor Hello doctor, my baby is healthy n active..but at night he wake up after every hour or two for milk ..is it ok?? he takes feed n go to sleep again ... sometimes after feed he spit out...even I don't give overdose of milk....what is the reason of it.. Thanks

A. Dear mum, yes, this is normal among babies. Feeding pattern varies from baby to baby. Some babies feed at shorter interval. Feed as per your baby’s demand. Spitting of milk is also common among babies due to reflux. Burp baby after every feed. Keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce the chances of vomit.
