Q.
11months old baby boy started crying suddenly on lifting him with hands over the armpits . No history of trauma. He cries only when we are trying to lift him up with our hands over his chest and armpits. What might be the reason?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is a possibility of dislocation of the elbow or the shoulder joint. it would be advisable to visit the doctor who will guide you what type of pain the child is experienceing

Check if there is some pain into the armpit so there is a lump or anything into that area because if the child is crying only during that time but then maybe the child is getting hurt when you’re picking up or lifting the child so check for that otherwise as of now the pain is much you can give paracetamol but you’ll have to check with your doctor tomorrow for this
