why my baby boy get cold and cough so often??

Author of questionFather of a 3 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. yes my 7month old baby got admitted due to fever and cough 1months ago and now he again got cough and cold. I am not going to doctor this time . anyways hankyou sir.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators orh antitussives mgyedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
