why does my 4 years old put everything in mouth ?? despite of making him understand not to.. he puts everything in mouth.. any particular reason?

In the early age when you see this happening that usually happens when the child is teething but right now that is practically not possible and also there is an issue called PICA with the kids like to have inedible things you know put it into their mouth and it’s because of the same reason as well
