Why 4 months baby getting white patches on face

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. many times white spots can occur in children but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application or simple coconut oil application.
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away
if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity thend you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergyf, fungal infection (sometimes self limiting) also for which your doctor will prescribe specific cream.

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello this can be due to dryness so it would be better to maintain the skin hydration and also try using mild and gentle baby skin care product which is made of natural ingredient and chemical free like babyhug which can help prevent the dryness and the patches due to it which would be better
