Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children6 years agoA. I suppose the mercury thermometer is the best as this gives the accurate temperature of the baby. Should use in the baby's armpits. Normal body temperature is 97.5-97.8°F if taken in axilla. It is advisable to take axillary temperature (underarm) in infants .
