When I start feeding water to my baby girl ,now 5 months old.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Breast milk has got lot of water ( 80 to 90% of water portion) which satisfies babys thirst. Baby should be breast feed exclusively till 6 months of age. You can increase the feeding frequency to ur baby

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good evening it is advisable to wait for one more month and then you can introduce water to the baby I will not recommend you to give anything before that it is advisable to give only mother's milk
