ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist5 years agoA. hi , bDrooling.Swollen, bulging gums, visible white below the gums, Irritability, trouble sleeping,trying to bite, chew on everything are commonly seen symptoms. massage gums with clean finger, cold cloth. give teether. freeze carrot sticks and give them to baby to chew on . avoid any medications unless prescribed by your paediatrician.

Take your doctor’s advice and give the medication as prescribed only when suggested to do so. When teething, press your child’s gums with a soft cotton cloth dipped in cold water to reduce the discomfort. Give frozen carrots or cucumbers to bite and nibble. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
