A. foremilk is the milk that comes in the beginning of breastfeeding it has more water and sugar. find milk comes later into the feeding and has more fat helps in weight gain therefore while breastfeeding, add one episode of breastfeeding let baby feed from only one breast do not switch breast so that baby receives a balance of foremilk and hindmilk both of which are important for adequate nutrition

A. Try to feed for longer duration. atleast 15-20 min on each breast. that way your baby will get enough of fore milk and hind milk. Hind milk comes later and is supposed to be rich in fats which helps in gaining weight in babies. So empty a breast every time.
