Q.

What is the difference between a pacifier and a soother or a teether. My baby is 4 months old and she wants somethin to chew and suck on. I wanted to try the pacifier kind of soother or teether. Will it be useful because people in india are not into pacifiers

A. I use pacifier since my baby was 4 month old n trust me it's helpful. my baby calms down n I have time to do my household work. I don't know why people r so against pacifiers and soothers. I recently introduced teether to my baby , she is 6 and a half month old. n shez happy with the teether too.

A. A pacifier is to sooth and calm down the baby. they have the habit of sucking so pacifier is used for that. teether on the other hand is used when a baby wants to chew on to something usually when teething. but these products need proper hygiene. its not only in India even abroad some doctors dont recommend pacifiers. so if u want to try u can but make sure ur baby does not get habitual of pacifier.
