Q.

tomm is polio drop in Delhi from 18 to 20 but am unable to give to my son due to some reason we r out of station so ..we r coming back at 21 so can poilo drop given on 4 or 5 day

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has recedived polio vaccine before as per the schedule then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccfine. For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .

A. No it doesn’t matter if you have an option of getting it done after 20th or 22nd 23rd whatever is feasible for you go ahead with that it is not a problem available in the hospital as well these days you can get it done that as well if you want to
