Q.

sir ..my baby is 1 month 17 days old.he had hyperbilirubin of total bilirubin 17 mg/dl on 7th March now after 2 days of photherapy it is reduced to 9.4 mg/dl.on CBC : on 12 Feb,2024 :Hemoglobin = 15.4 ,PCV is 46.5. RBC count=4.76 on 7 March,2024: HB=10.9 mg/dl ,PCV=30.1,RBC count=3.32 on 11march,2024: HB=9.8 mg/dl ,PCV=27.8,RBC count= 3.12 and peripheral smear report gave normocytic normochromic anemia . Recticulocyte count=2 please let me know the possibile cause of dropping hemoglobin . whether the condition will improve.please provide valuable opinion.
