Q.

Should warm fomentation or cold compress be applied on vaccination area after 6 week old baby has pain and swelling. #Vaccination

A. dear mom, cold compress helps in reducing the swelling at the injection site. apply it after 3 or 4 hours. it reduces the inflammation and thus the appearance of the swelling at the injection site disappears

A. My doctor told, cold compress should not be used after vaccination in case it s swollen.. Instead told me to use "Bestnac" cream around the swollen area... Every 2-3hrs once..

A. cold compress is to be applied after vaccination as it helps in soothing
