Shld v use detol in water for bath ..for babies???

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. no you should not , blit might irritate skin and mucosa . give bath the way baby likes. avoid harsh massages , be gentle. preferably to be given by a family member. if baby doesn't like traditional indian bath, get a bath tub.

The newborns skin is generally soft, delicate and sensitive for which using Dettol would be too much.Instead, warm water and a mild soap solution can be used as only a small amount of skin will be shed by the baby. ... Don't use Dettol soap for the new born baby at this time.
